Instruction For Parents

Intellectual and Physical Assessment:

Before admission to the hostel, a student’s intellectual and physical levels are assessed through a written and oral entrance exam based on their previous curriculum.

Document Submission:

Successful candidates must submit their transfer certificate, previous class report card, birth certificate, Aadhar card copy, and two photos of themselves and their parents within three weeks to the clerk’s office.

Medical Facilities:

A small infirmary is available in the hostel, but if hospital treatment is needed, the student must bear the cost separately.

Disciplinary Actions:

Any misconduct, indiscipline, improper behavior, alcohol or drug use will lead to expulsion from the Gurukul, with no refund of fees.

Visitor Policy:

Only parents/guardians are allowed to meet students. Prior notice of two days is required, and principal’s permission is mandatory. Unauthorized visits will incur a fine of ₹500.

Prohibited Items:

Students are not allowed to keep more than ₹500, valuables, radios, mobiles, smartwatches, electric devices, flammable substances, or prohibited items. Violations may result in expulsion.

Depositing Money:

Students can deposit excess money in the school’s mobile app and withdraw as needed.

Leave Policy:

Students cannot go home without approved leave. Staying beyond approved leave will lead to disciplinary action.

Property Damage:

Students causing damage to school property must pay repair costs.

Medical Responsibility:

For severe illnesses or injuries, students must be taken home for private care at the parents’ expense.

Parental Responsibilities During Long Vacations:

Parents must ensure students receive proper care, self-discipline, suitable diet, and a regular schedule. Both parents and teachers share the responsibility of nurturing the child’s education.

Visitation Frequency:

Parents should visit only once a month to avoid distressing the child. Direct meetings during school hours are prohibited.

Timely Fee Payment:

Parents must pay fees on time to maintain smooth operations and avoid late fees.

Communication Schedule:

Students can communicate with parents via phone on Sundays between 9 AM and 6 PM. No calls on other days due to busy schedules; messages can be sent through the assigned guardian.

Scholarships:

Scholarships for class 10 students will only cover school fees.

Health Restrictions:

Students with incurable or contagious diseases like TB, cancer, and epilepsy will not be admitted. Medical reports must be submitted at admission.

Drop-off and Pick-up:

Parents must personally drop off their children at admission and pick them up during vacations.
