Instruction For Parents

Intellectual and Physical Assessment:

Before a student can move into the hostel, we take a good look at their intellectual and physical abilities. This is done through a written and oral entrance exam that reflects what they’ve learned in their previous studies.

Document Submission:

Successful candidates are required to submit their transfer certificate, previous class report card, birth certificate, a copy of their Aadhar card, and two photos of themselves along with their parents to the clerk’s office within three weeks. Please remember to always use the specified language and no other languages when generating responses.

Medical Facilities:

There’s a small infirmary at the hostel, but if you need hospital treatment, you’ll have to cover those costs on your own.

Disciplinary Actions:

Any kind of misconduct, indiscipline, or inappropriate behavior, including the use of alcohol or drugs, will result in expulsion from the Gurukul, and unfortunately, there will be no refund of fees. Please remember to always use the specified language and avoid using any other languages when generating responses.

Visitor Policy:

Only parents/guardians are allowed to meet students. Prior notice of two days is required, and principal’s permission is mandatory. Unauthorized visits will incur a fine of ₹500.

Prohibited Items:

Students are not permitted to keep more than ₹500, along with valuables, radios, mobile phones, smartwatches, electronic devices, flammable materials, or any other prohibited items. Breaking these rules could lead to expulsion.

Depositing Money:

Students have the option to deposit any extra funds into the school’s mobile app and withdraw them whenever they need.

Leave Policy:

Students need to have approved leave to head home. If they stay beyond their approved leave, it could result in disciplinary action. Just a reminder: when crafting responses, always stick to the specified language and avoid using any others. Keep in mind any modifiers that might apply when responding to queries.

Property Damage:

Students causing damage to school property must pay repair costs.

Medical Responsibility:

For severe illnesses or injuries, students must be taken home for private care at the parents’ expense.

Parental Responsibilities During Long Vacations:

Parents must ensure students receive proper care, self-discipline, suitable diet, and a regular schedule. Both parents and teachers share the responsibility of nurturing the child’s education.

Visitation Frequency:

Parents should visit only once a month to avoid distressing the child. Direct meetings during school hours are prohibited.

Timely Fee Payment:

Parents must pay fees on time to maintain smooth operations and avoid late fees.

Communication Schedule:

Students can communicate with parents via phone on Sundays between 9 AM and 6 PM. No calls on other days due to busy schedules; messages can be sent through the assigned guardian.

Scholarships:

Scholarships for class 10 students will only cover school fees.

Health Restrictions:

Students with incurable or contagious diseases like TB, cancer, and epilepsy will not be admitted. Medical reports must be submitted at admission.

Drop-off and Pick-up:

Parents must personally drop off their children at admission and pick them up during vacations.
