Instruction For Parents
Academic and Physical Evaluation:
Prior to hostel allotment, each student undergoes a comprehensive academic and physical evaluation. This includes written and oral assessments based on the student’s previous curriculum to determine learning level, understanding, and overall readiness.
Required Documentation:
Parents of selected students must submit the following documents to the administrative office within three weeks of selection: Transfer Certificate, previous class report card, birth certificate, Aadhaar card copy, and two recent photographs of the student along with photographs of both parents.
Medical Support:
Basic first-aid facilities are available within the hostel. However, expenses related to specialized or hospital treatment must be borne entirely by the parents or guardians.
Code of Discipline:
Strict discipline is maintained within the Gurukul. Any act of misconduct, indiscipline, or unacceptable behaviour—including the consumption or possession of alcohol, tobacco, or drugs—will lead to immediate dismissal. Fees paid in such cases are non-refundable.
Visitor Guidelines:
Only parents or legal guardians are permitted to meet students. A minimum notice of two days is required, and prior approval from the Principal is compulsory. Unauthorized visits will attract a penalty of ₹500.
Restricted Articles:
Students are not allowed to keep cash exceeding ₹500 or carry valuables such as mobile phones, smartwatches, electronic gadgets, radios, flammable items, or any prohibited materials. Violation of this rule may result in strict disciplinary action, including expulsion.
Student Funds Management:
Excess money may be deposited through the school’s mobile application. Students can access these funds as and when required, under institutional guidelines.
Leave Regulations:
Students may return home only with formally approved leave. Staying beyond the sanctioned leave period will invite disciplinary measures.
Care of School Property:
Any damage caused to school or hostel property by a student must be compensated by the parents as per the assessed repair or replacement cost.
Serious Medical Cases:
In cases of major illness or injury, the student will be sent home for private medical care, and all related expenses will be the responsibility of the parents.
Parental Role During Extended Vacations:
During long holidays, parents are expected to ensure proper care, disciplined habits, nutritious food, and a structured daily routine. The child’s overall development is a shared responsibility between parents and educators.
Visitation Frequency:
To maintain emotional stability and routine, parents are advised to visit their child only once a month. Meetings during regular school hours are not permitted.
Fee Payment Policy:
Timely payment of fees is mandatory to ensure uninterrupted academic and administrative functioning. Delays may result in late charges or other administrative action.
Parent–Student Communication:
Students are allowed to speak with their parents by phone on Sundays between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Phone calls on other days are restricted; essential messages may be communicated through the designated guardian.
Scholarship Terms:
Scholarships offered to Class 10 students are applicable only to tuition fees and do not cover other charges
Health Eligibility:
Students diagnosed with serious or contagious conditions such as tuberculosis, cancer, epilepsy, or similar illnesses are not eligible for admission. A valid medical fitness report must be submitted at the time of enrollment.
Drop-off and Pick-up:
Parents are required to personally drop off their child at the time of admission and collect them during vacations to ensure safety and proper handover
